2 cards, same theme

I took the same theme, same colors, same accessories and put together 2 different cards. It was quick and fun! I hadn't used my flannel background stamp yet either... moving sucks when your stuff is packed for months! So I busted it out and good ol' Heartfelt Thanks and set out to make some "fallish" colored cards. I think Old Olive and Choc Chip are very fally, and nothing says fall like flannel!

Jumbo Eyelet Affair

I put this card together just so I could use my new jumbo eyelets... I think I am in love! I like how they add something to card. I am excited to use them again! Oh, and the Cropodile is WONDERFUL! If you don't have one, I highly recommend it!!

And yes, that is Wasabi in my card again :)

Scratch-n-Sniff Fever!

I am doing this card for a scratch and sniff swap. I love how it turned out and hope that the scent stays. I used pumpkin pie spice to mix with my clear embossing powder along with only orange craft ink. It makes your house smell really yummy when you emboss it too :)
I made this card for a friend who is thinking of becoming a demo. I put it in the packet of goodies for her. It was also an excuse for me to bust out the new brads... I hadn't used them yet and now I really like them and have to talk myself out of using them on everything I make.

First Post!

First off, I have to thank a wonderful person from SCS, Debbi, who helped me out with my blog header and etc! I was so confused- which doesn't take much these days being 8 1/2 months pregnant :)

Wild Chipboard Butterfly

I am addicted to Wild Wasabi! Seriously, I think I need some type of intervention... I am on my 3rd pack of the stuff!

I made this card for a swap that my upline Linda held using the new in colors and pick a petal. I really like this little guy! I cut strips in the wasabi to resemble grass... it is a little hard to see from the picture. I colored the chipboard just by smooshing (yes, that is a technical term) the chipboard directly into the wasabi ink pad.

Did I mention I liked the wasabi...

My Other Addiction...

Starting off with one of my other habits besides stamping (gasp! yep I do other things other than that hehe...)
This is one of many burp cloths I made for our baby girl who we are expecting any day now! I just love the poodle fabric.
